Reporting to the Director of Project Development, the Manager of Transportation and Open Spaces is responsible for developing strategies and managing operations within the division, aligning with Corporate Strategy and Council priorities. This division develops infrastructure projects from long-term plans to delivery-ready projects for Calgary's streets, sidewalks, pathways, parks, and recreation services.
As the Manager, you will inspire your team and foster a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and align projects with community needs and service improvements. As part of the management team, you will promote an inclusive leadership style that emphasizes equity, diversity, inclusion, psychological, and physical safety.
