Job summary

EPCOR in Edmonton, AB, is seeking a senior Manager, Transmission Asset Management to lead lifecycle planning for EDTI substations and transmission assets. You will oversee long- and short-term capital planning, regulatory submissions, and asset performance initiatives.

Ideal candidates are a licensed Professional Engineer with 10+ years in transmission and substation engineering, strong regulatory and ISO55000 knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple teams and contractors while delivering

Qualifications

Professional Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
10 years of experience in Transmission & Substation Engineering is required.
Familiarity with capital projects and asset management; including repair and maintenance, planning, and project execution.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee system and asset operational capacities based on risk and configuration.
Ensure alignment of direct reports with performance expectations and metrics.
Plan operational budgets and implement project and work management processes.
Coordinate impacts and opportunities with other units regarding asset condition and lifecycle planning.
Develop business cases for General Tariff Applications and respond to information requests.
