What is the opportunity?
Personal Banking’s Value Office, in the COO group, is a dedicated team with the objective of shaping the Personal Banking business for the future and driving alignment and execution of strategic priorities in partnership with the various lines of businesses and functional partners. Within the Value Office, the Business Performance & Portfolio Management team is looking to hire a Manager to support Transformation and Strategic Performance Management.
In this role, you will need to bring a strategic mindset to help connect strategic objectives and performance both horizontally across the organization and vertically through an understanding of individual lines of business. You will gain an understanding of key organizational priorities and the ability to translate performance of the organization, based on financial and qualitative metrics, into concise insights for executive consumption. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of helping solve business problems with a consulting mindset and approach; through stakeholder relationship management and logical reasoning paired with your experience in financial services and passion for driving business value, you will develop data driven insights and support executive decision making to move strategic objectives forward. You will have a grasp of the business, understand concepts across project/ portfolio management and business metrics, and have technical capabilities in productivity tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI). The successful candidate will lead with an inquisitive mind and bring creativity and innovation to solutions. You should be comfortable both at the conceptual level and in the details, working as part of a small team with a collective goal, proactively partnering in areas where you can add value.
