Job description

What you will do

1. Manage the design and development of defendable transfer pricing policies and models for goods, services, and intangible property, such as trade names, trademarks, licenses, and technology.
2. Direct the implementation of transfer pricing models and policies for clients.
3. Review transfer pricing reports for documentation and audit defense purposes.
4. Collaborate with tax authorities on issues arising from transfer pricing audits.
5. Support in developing strategies for obtaining advance pricing agreements and negotiate with tax authorities.
6. Collaborate with international tax colleagues and other groups on structuring international arrangements.
7. Oversee multiple engagements, supervise team resources, and manage client expectations.

What you bring to the role

1. Degree from an accredited university in a relevant field, preferably in Commerce or Economics.
2. Minimum 5 years experience specializing in transfer pricing practice.
3. Strong understanding of tax audits and negotiating with tax authorities.
4. Understanding of quantitative methods and ability to interpret results qualitatively.
5. Prior experience managing teams and coaching and mentoring junior resources.
6. Successful completion of CPA, In-depth Tax course, or international equivalent is an asset.
