We're on the hunt for a visionary Traffic Operations Manager to lead our team into the future.As the Traffic Operations Manager, you'll bring your expertise, leadership, and strategic planning skills to the forefront, managing broad operational and capital areas within our Traffic Operations Department. You'll ensure the safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective management of our city's transportation infrastructure, including traffic signals, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), traffic control devices, street lighting, and Road Usage permitting. You'll also be the face of the department, providing media interviews, representing us to City Council on operational transportation items, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory, policy, and legal infrastructure requirements.We are looking for an innovator who can bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to the table, as well as a people leader who can motivate and mentor our talented team. If you have a passion for making a difference and the skills to drive our operations forward, we want to hear from you!Qualifications: Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in good standing. Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) Certification required.
