The Role
Drive the development and maintenance of data-driven solutions and services in support of Scotiabank Global Banking & Markets (GBM). Directly contribute to the creation and maintenance of GBM transaction data, the support and development of the domain’s data services, and the management of data quality and availability of data.
Implement data governance to comply with Data Standards that include maintaining business metadata for Trade Central, ensuring compliance through attestation of TC data assets and CDEs, and overseeing data quality monitoring for Trade Central. Additionally, this role is responsible for driving the development and maintenance of reusable trade dataset that are used for financial regulatory reporting, statutory reporting and key risk reporting. Key responsibilities include contributing to data management practices, analyzing data consumers' needs, collaborating with technology partners on data controls, and liaising with third-party data providers to resolve data issues.
