Our Technology Risk Management group in Business Enablement Services is seeking a Risk Manager to oversee how the firm manages risk in deploying technology. The Risk Manager will support the execution of the globally mandated risk management process overseen by the Canadian Quality & Risk Management Technology Risk team.

The role involves supporting the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks related to technology use. It interacts with Technology Risk Management, as well as other stakeholders such as Legal, Privacy, Information Security, Architecture, IT Support & Maintenance, and Strategic Risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Technology Risk Assessment Submissions and respond to consultations
• Monitor and facilitate the timely completion of risk tasks and approvals
• Conduct Technology Risk Assessments and draft summaries
• Perform Quality Assurance over risk assessments
• Support Technology Risk Initiatives to improve processes

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in business, IT, Risk Management, Audit, or related fields

5+ years of relevant experience in IT or business process risk assessment

Strong understanding of IT risks and business acumen

Excellent communication skills and project management experience

MBA or CPA is an asset

This position requires fluency in English and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across Canada.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range in BC is CA$73,000 to CA$109,500, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive Total Rewards package.
