Experience with technology risk management rewarded: As FCC continues to evolve its strategy and deepen its reliance on data, information, and technology to support Canada’s agriculture and food industry and fulfill its legislative mandate, the importance of effective risk management grows in parallel. This role supports the evolution of our technology and information risk practices, helping FCC stay within its defined risk appetite while enabling growth and innovation.

What you’ll do
  • Establish and implement tools, processes and practices for effective technology and information risk management.
  • Conduct and coordinate technology and information risk assessments to identify key exposures, evaluate control effectiveness, and ensure alignment with FCC’s risk appetite.
  • Provide oversight and effective challenge on information and technology risks to help ensure they remain within FCC’s defined risk appetite.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the business to promote risk awareness and embed risk considerations into decision-making.
  • Provide guidance on risk management practices, regulatory compliance, and governance standards.
