We are looking for a Manager, Taxation to join our high performing Taxation department to assist with leading the Commodity tax function for The Canada Life Assurance Company (“CLA”), a Canadian Life Insurance company, and its subsidiaries.
As a Manager, Taxation, your role will be responsible for the review and analysis of commodity tax compliance matters to contribute to our goal of maintaining accurate commodity taxes (GST/HST/PST). As a mentor and coach, you’ll cultivate a dynamic learning environment, empowering team members to grow.
Reporting to the Director, Taxation, you will collaborate in investigating, researching, and analyzing commodity tax matters for the purpose of tax compliance, tax audits, special transactions and/or tax planning.

The base salary for this position is between $74,500 - $137,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
