SALARY: $84,864 - $113,609 per annum

POSITION LOCATION: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

DUTIES

RRC Polytech’s Human Resource Services Department is transforming to better support the organization and employees. We are creating new management roles, including this Manager, Talent Acquisition, to lead a team of specialists in workforce planning and recruitment, aligning with strategic goals and enhancing employee experience.

This role reports to the Director, Human Resource Services, and offers a unique opportunity to shape HR services at RRC Polytech. Join us in driving positive change and supporting our staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary diploma in human resource management or equivalent
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a process-driven team
  • Supervisory and generalist experience in a large organization, especially in recruitment, workforce planning, and collective agreement interpretation
  • Experience in workforce planning, organizational design, and working with diverse workforces
  • Proficiency in research, policy development, and organizational performance improvement
  • Excellent written communication skills for policies, training, and announcements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle large amounts of information and meet deadlines
  • Customer service orientation with ability to build stakeholder relationships
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing projects and change management strategies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related applications
  • Alignment with RRC’s values and ethics
  • Experience fostering a respectful, diverse, and learning-oriented workplace culture

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

  • CPHR designation
  • Experience in a unionized environment similar in scope to RRC Polytech

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada
  • Availability to work evenings/weekends if required
  • Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check
