O2E Brands is looking for a Manager, Talent Acquisition who will be responsible for leading and executing strategic talent acquisition initiatives across the organization. This role oversees the full recruitment lifecycle, from employer branding to sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top-tier candidates. The Manager, Talent Acquisition plays a critical role in building a diverse, high-performing workforce that aligns with the organization’s values, culture, and long-term goals.

HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT

Our motto "It's All About People" drives us to create a hybrid work model that promotes collaboration, celebration, and connection, while giving you the flexibility to work where it makes sense for you.

  • Vancouver and Toronto based team members work in-office every other week (Tues–Thurs). Core attendance is required from 9 AM – 3 PM on these days to support business priorities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Develop and implement a proactive talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational goals and workforce planning needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of recruiters, fostering continuous development and high-performance.
  • Analyze and report on recruitment metrics, trends, and KPIs to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to forecast hiring needs and prioritize critical roles.

Recruitment Operations

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.
  • Standardize hiring practices across departments to promote fairness, consistency, and legal compliance.
  • Evaluate and optimize recruiting tools, technologies, and platforms (e.g., ATS, sourcing tools, job boards).

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Drive employer brand strategy through social media, recruitment marketing, and career site content.
  • Ensure an inclusive and engaging candidate experience, from initial outreach through onboarding.
  • Collaborate closely with People Business Partners, Total Rewards, People Operations, Learning and Development, and Culture to align recruitment with overall people strategy.
  • Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers, providing guidance on talent availability, interview best practices, and market trends.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, search firms, and recruitment vendors.

What You Bring To The Table

  • 5–7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2–3 years in a management or team leadership role.
  • Proven track record of hiring across various functions and levels, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Deep understanding of recruitment practices, talent pipelines, and sourcing strategies.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements and measure success.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems.
