Your mission in the team: (Hybrid role)

We are seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Optimization to drive efficiency, analytics, and governance across our supply chain projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects align with strategic objectives, implementing best practices in process optimization, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance decision-making. Research, analytics and business intelligence feature heavily in this role, identifying opportunities and recommending solutions. This role will lead a team responsible for developing data-driven dashboards, reporting frameworks, and advanced analytics solutions to enhance supply chain performance and decision-making.

Your Responsibilities As Manager, Supply Chain Optimization

  • Actively participate in the governance of logistics projects including the design of our end-to-end supply chain model.
  • Lead a team of data analysts to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks and processes. Governance. Ensure standardization of reporting, KPIs, and analytics models across the supply chain.
  • Monitors and supports key metrics (KPI’s) for overall supply chain performance and process effectiveness. Supports and coach metric owners in completion of gap analyses and identification of corrective measures.
  • Analyze supply chain processes, developing short and long-term strategies for the organization with the goal to facilitate progress and reduce costs, both in terms of sales and workflow efficiency.
  • Manage the execution of optimization projects: i.e. quality of deliverables, respect of schedule, budget and monitor progress
  • Management and coordination of personnel including but not limited to, hiring, performance management, orientation, assignment and distribution of workflow.
  • Keep abreast of new management trends and practices; maintain a particular focus on innovation and advancements within the logistics and distribution discipline
  • Establish and sustain succession and contingency plans that ensure continuity of business execution

The Qualifications We Are Looking For

  • 3 to 5 years in supply chain with a focus on analytics and optimization
  • University Degree in Supply Chain Management /Economics /Business /Engineering /Business Technology/Operations Management
  • Strong skills in data analytics, AI modelling and Microsoft Office and basic principles of Supply Chain Management software. Including data analytic tools (SQL, Python, Alterx) and visualization platforms
  • Strong situational leadership skills to influence all levels of the organization and capable of building strong relationships to effect change.
  • Critical thinking and proficiency in business process evaluation and development; with the ability to understand and foresee implications of new information for current and future problem solving.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of methodologies and standards for business analysis. Lean Six Sigma, Agile or similar process evaluation and improvement certification or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably 1+ years of having direct reports or mentoring roles
  • Available for occasional travel in Quebec and Ontario
  • Available for weekend work as projects require
