The Role

Cameco’s supply chain management (SCM) department is seeking a dynamic and results-driven manager, enablement within our supply chain department. This role focuses on continuous improvement and technology implementation to enhance supply chain efficiency. As a key member of the supply chain team, the manager, enablement will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, BTS, and process owners to standardize and automate supply chain workflows, improve end-to-end supply chain visibility, and leverage technology to achieve business goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the adoption, integration, and optimization of SAP S4 ERP within the supply chain department, ensuring the system is configured to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop training programs and documentation to ensure end users are proficient in SAP S4 processes and functionality
  • Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to evaluate and implement new technological solutions that support supply chain operations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for supply chain process standardization and technology initiatives, providing leadership, guidance, and support to the broader supply chain team
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring timely delivery of enablement initiatives and driving accountability across departments
  • Promote a collaborative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving within the supply chain team, fostering innovation and continuous learning
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and change management
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver process and technology initiatives
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions
  • Proficiency in process mapping, process reengineering, and process automation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, process optimization, and/or ERP enablement, with a strong focus on continuous improvement
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Proven experience with SAP S4 ERP, particularly in modules related to supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
  • Occasional travel required to the northern Saskatchewan and Ontario operations

Recommended:

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
