How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The manager – Supply chain is responsible for promoting a business operation excellence culture by identifying, developing, and implementing process/solutions/initiatives to improve the entire supply chain. The role requires viewing all processes in a complete ‘business cycle’ context and gaining buy-in from all stakeholders for deploying solutions. Solutions will require a solid understanding of business processes, procedures, and technology tools. The Manager must be able to analyze, design, test, implement, and train to define or redefine business processes, enabling the Region to achieve its goals and maximize customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote safety and compliance culture, correcting unsafe acts or conditions without delay. Support operation teams in Safety Management Systems and Accident and Injury Reduction Plans.
  • In collaboration with VP Operations, develop a mid to long-term roadmap for the Regional supply chain, including reliability, efficiency, digitalization, and AI. Benchmark against other entities to identify best practices.
  • Work with process leaders to identify and develop process improvement opportunities, including annual planning and budgeting.
  • Draft business case justifications for management approval.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen to support opportunities.
  • Manage all phases of process improvement projects to enhance supply chain and customer experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of SOPs, Safety Management System, SAP, and other tools. Support training and audits on SOPs and systems.
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees and coach managers for operational excellence.
  • Establish process metrics and measures to ensure improvements deliver results and enable quick remediation.
  • Communicate progress, obstacles, and improvement suggestions with leadership. Address ineffective processes impacting transaction accuracy.
  • Assist leaders in improving transactional accuracy and ERP proficiency.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate performance, safety, inventory, SOP compliance, and training gaps.
  • Perform other projects or initiatives as assigned.
