  • Build and actively manage a forward-looking pipeline of prospective partnerships, prioritizing opportunities based on their potential to generate wealth, attract new clients and create longer-term enterprise value.
  • Develop partnership concepts and value propositions that create clear, reciprocal value for Scotia Wealth Management, prospective partners and their members, clients or communities.
  • Lead early-stage discovery with prospective partners to understand their priorities, audiences and capabilities and determine strategic fit.
  • Prepare business cases, recommendations and partnership proposals to support internal review, prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Represent Scotia Wealth Management at conferences, industry forums, networking events and partner meetings to build relationships, gather market intelligence and identify new opportunities.
Partnership Structuring & Launch
  • Progress priority opportunities from initial concept through due diligence, negotiation, agreement and launch.
  • Define partnership objectives, audiences, value exchanges, activation models and expected business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Scotia Wealth Management and the broader Bank to develop integrated partnership solutions and coordinate the internal review and approvals required to proceed.
  • Lead commercial discussions and support contract development to ensure partnership commitments, deliverables, performance measures and responsibilities are clearly defined.
  • Develop activation plans and transition newly established partnerships into effective implementation and ongoing relationship management.
  • Identify opportunities to scale successful partnership approaches across markets, audiences or business lines.
  • Monitor market, industry and competitive developments to identify emerging partnership opportunities and inform portfolio strategy.
  • Establish success measures and reporting expectations for new partnerships, including client acquisition, engagement, revenue and other agreed strategic outcomes.
  • Use data, partner feedback and market insights to assess opportunity quality, refine partnership proposals and inform resource-allocation decisions.
  • Review the opportunity pipeline regularly and recommend where the organization should advance, reshape, pause or exit prospective partnership discussions.
  • Provide clear updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders on pipeline health, priority opportunities, risks and decisions required.
  • Capture insights from launched partnerships to strengthen future opportunity assessment, negotiation and activation.
Risk & Compliance
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk requirements in all activities.
Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:
