Reporting to the Director of Finance and Strategy, this position is essential to Ministry operations, leading budget development, strategic planning, and reporting. The role involves handling complex information that impacts budget and service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing plans that optimize performance and achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Performance Evaluation: Lead the development and evaluation of the Ministry's strategic and business plans, ensuring alignment with the Ministry's strategic framework and government directives.
  • Budget Development: Oversee the budget development process to provide insights that inform decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Facilitate discussions with internal stakeholders and provide timely, rigorous, and accurate analysis and advice to senior government officials.
  • Cultivating Workplace Culture: Promote a productive and positive workplace culture by fostering collaboration, transparency, and trust.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in strategic planning, budget development, and program evaluation within a government or public sector environment will be an asset.
