We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Manager, Strategic Finance to join our finance team at Caseware, a leading SaaS organization. As a Strategic Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies and programs that help refine business plans for global transformations and strategic initiatives.

You will work closely with the senior leadership to align reporting and financial analysis, provide key financial insights to ELT; and standardize how we evaluate business performance.

This is a full-time permanent position

Location:

This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3 days a week in our Toronto office, [Tue/Wed/Thu] located at 351 King Street East, Toronto, Ontario.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support company growth and operational efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis identifying key business drivers.
• Lead special projects, understand and set up business case planning.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to analyze budget forecasts and track actuals against budget in alignment with Finance partners.
• Provide financial insights to the CFO and finance senior leaders for identifying areas for cost optimization and resource allocation.
• Assist in financial planning and modeling, annual operating planning (AOP), scenario planning, and investment decision-making.
• Monitor financial KPIs and provide recurring, timely and accurate reports on financial performance.

What you will bring:

• 5+ years of consulting role or relevant work experience in a consulting role or relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. Master's Degree (MBA or a Master's in Finance) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the accounting, auditing, and software industries, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and tracking actuals; strong preference for relevant work experience.
• Proven track record implementing effective business solutions through collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and familiarity with relevant financial software tools such as Excel and NetSuite ERP system.
