We are looking for an experienced Manager, Software Development, to coach engineers and new hires in compliance domain and architecture. As a self-motivated and enthusiastic member of our team, you will work with extremely hardworking peers in a fun environment. You will work in an agile environment with a focus on problem solving and engineering perfection.
We are the Global Onboarding and Compliance Engineering team and are responsible for building the technology to manage user onboarding experience and meet compliance requirements globally. The Manager, Software Development, will lead the user onboarding product technology stack, which enables eBay new users to onboard on a platform to sell and transact. eBay user onboarding product technology stack is currently in a very critical path for new user success at eBay globally.
The Manager, Software Development, will also lead a team of Software Engineers who build and manage the application stack from both front-end and back-end. This team runs multiple experiments on the platform to continue to improve the conversation rate which adds several millions of dollars to our incremental GMV. The team uses cutting-edge technologies to ship the product in a very scalable way to enable eBay users located in more than 190 countries across the globe.
