The Tax practice in our Regina office is looking for a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join the Private Enterprise Tax group. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, work with new clients and industries, expand your internal and external networks, and be a key member in the growth of our practice.

KPMG Private Enterprise professionals are dedicated solely to helping business owners and entrepreneurs of privately-held businesses grow thriving enterprises. We serve as trusted business advisers, contributing valuable perspectives, ideas, and options to help business owners capitalize on opportunities.

As a lead member, you will work closely with KPMG Partners on tax planning initiatives and requirements. Your organizational skills will enable you to direct the work of junior staff, review their work for accuracy and completeness, research and prepare tax-planning strategies, and lead the preparation of tax returns. You will set the standard for junior staff by providing ongoing support and opportunities for professional development.

What You Will Do

  • Lead small and medium-sized client engagements
  • Work closely with team members on tax planning work for clients
  • Plan and organize teams for tax return preparation and conduct tax research
  • Advise on planning opportunities, tax minimization strategies, and compliance issues
  • Review junior staff work for accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in servicing client planning and compliance needs
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring for staff development

What You Bring To The Role

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Tax within a public accounting firm

  • Completion of the In-Depth Tax Course
