The opportunity

EY’s Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice is an advisory unit providing risk management support to banks, insurers, and asset managers. Our team includes industry, client, and product knowledge experts, as well as professionals in quantitative analysis, regulation, project management, and technology. We are seeking a Manager and Senior Manager to join us. Together, we will deliver risk management, regulatory, and business performance services to clients such as commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurance, and energy trading companies.

Your key responsibilities

The IRM Solutions Enablement Manager or Senior Manager will collaborate with team members to assess, select, design, implement, and roll out integrated risk management (IRM) solutions. Responsibilities include engagement oversight, team management, client relationship development, and practice development initiatives such as business development and staff training.

The IRM implementation services involve:

1. Assisting with vendor selections for IRM solutions
2. Designing and evaluating GRC programs, conducting current state assessments, and developing future state designs
3. Supporting clients with GRC process re-engineering and tool enhancements
4. Implementing IRM platforms across the Software Development Lifecycle
5. Integrating IRM software, understanding architecture options like ETL and Web-API
6. Developing IRM governance and operating models
7. Providing IRM Managed Services, including support, maintenance, and post-production enhancements

Skills and attributes for success

• Thorough understanding of complex information systems

• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
• Willingness to travel on short notice
• Fluency in French and English for global client interaction

Minimum qualifications

• University degree in finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field
• Fully bilingual in French and English
• At least 7 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on implementation experience or certification in platforms like RSA Archer, ServiceNow, IBM OpenPages, or Metric Stream
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of IT risk management, internal audit, vendor risk, SOX, information security, and OpRisk processes
• Understanding of risk convergence, control frameworks, and operational risk projects
• Knowledge of standards like CobIT, ISO 27001 & 27002, PCI, GLBA
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Professional integrity and project management ability
