Manager, Security & Information Assurance (Permanent)

Expected Salary: $88,641 to $132,961

In this role, you will:

  1. Support the Director of Corporate Support by leading the security operations in both French and English.
  2. Provide assurance of security performance and Information Assurance (IA) to Senior Management.
  3. Interpret external requirements to ensure consistency across Babcock Canada.
  4. Support audits, assessments, and define assurance requirements.
  5. Conduct inspections, report on assurance activities, and review security policies and processes.
  6. Advise on internal security matters and liaise with stakeholders.
  7. Facilitate security communications and deliver security training.
  8. Assist in maintaining and testing Business Continuity Plans.
  9. Identify and manage security risks for current and new business activities.
  10. Investigate security breaches and incidents, support asset management activities, and oversee security assessments and access controls.
  11. Develop security policies and assess threats and risks.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate brings:

  • A Diploma in Security Management or equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Industrial Security and Controlled Goods Program.
  • Experience in Corporate Security Program management.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Knowledge of Physical Security systems (Card access, CCTV, alarms).
  • Experience in writing incident reports and project management is an asset.
  • Knowledge of business continuity, information, and cyber security principles.
  • Eligibility for a Canadian NATO Secret Security Clearance, ITAR, and Controlled Goods.
