About the role:
Absorb is seeking a dynamic Manager, Sales Development to lead and develop our team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) for the Together organization. As Manager, Sales Development at Together Software, you'll play a pivotal role in building and scaling a high-performing team, converting inbound enquiries and outbound prospects into qualified meetings.
Reporting directly to our hands-on VP of Sales for Together, you'll lead by example—motivating and training reps, fine-tuning talk tracks, and driving results through targeted outreach and strategic prospecting. Leveraging your management skills and sales expertise to mentor your team to spark interest with prospects, and showcase the value of our mentoring software.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on data and improving conversion rates at the top of our sales funnel. A professional experienced in coaching and development, takes pride in execution, and balances a strong sense of initiative with deep respect for leadership and team collaboration. You should have a genuine love for lead conversion, cold calling, a sharp eye for data, and the ability to guide your team through change. You’ll be responsible for adopting and optimizing a robust lead management framework, executing multi-touch campaigns, enhancing pre-call planning processes, and hands-on management needed to exceed sales quotas and drive new bookings.

3-5 years of experience in a related sales role, with at least 1-2 years in a management/coaching position.
Proven ability to lead a team, demonstrating strong motivational and coaching skills.
Passion for selling, lead management, and helping reps get better every day.
High coachability and a strong respect for leadership collaboration.
Proficient in conducting detailed data analyses and using metrics to drive business results.
Track record of balancing execution with strategic thinking. Proactive approach managing, asking for help, and taking initiative.
Detail-oriented and organized with strong follow-through.
Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where priorities can shift.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Interested in long-term career opportunities in SaaS sales leadership.
Preferred Requirements:
Familiarity with Sales Engagement tools (Hubspot, Gong).
Familiarity with Sales Prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, UserGems, Lusha).
Understanding of sales process and qualifying such as MEDDPICC, BANT, SPIN, Challenger, Gap.
