The Manager, Risk Appetite and Controls, Global Governance contributes to the overall success of the Global Retail Credit Risk team by contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of the Bank’s risk appetite and control processes and frameworks, in alignment with regulatory requirements, organizational strategy, and risk management objectives.
This role is expected to have a high degree of analytical and technical knowledge and experience, combined with a strong understanding of retail and small business credit risk policies/processes/lifecycle. Experience and knowledge of the various adjudication and document retention platforms used in Canada & C&CA is an asset.
This role supports and works closely with the Senior Manager, Risk Appetite and Controls and interacts frequently with GRM team members, business lines across the Bank’s footprint, technical teams, data analytics teams, systems, operations, Audit, Bank regulators, and any other stakeholders as deemed necessary.
