We are opening a brand‑new dual‑branded Applebee’s & IHOP in Regina, the first of its kind in Saskatchewan, and we are looking for an experienced, driven, high‑energy Restaurant General Manager to help us open and lead this flagship location. This will be a busy, high‑volume, high‑profile store opening. We need someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, loves building teams, and takes pride in running a tight, guest‑focused operation.

Training & Certification
  • Complete 6 weeks of paid training at established Applebee’s/IHOP locations in another province
  • Learn brand standards, systems, leadership expectations, and operational procedures
Opening Leadership
  • Work directly with ownership during the build‑out and pre‑opening phases
  • Help set up the restaurant, implement systems, and prepare the location for launch
  • Recruit, hire, train, and coach the opening team
  • Lead the team through a busy and highly anticipated grand opening period
Operations Management
  • Manage day‑to‑day restaurant operations with a strong focus on hospitality, food quality, and cleanliness
  • Support FOH and BOH teams, build positive culture, and model high standards
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing, inventory, ordering, cost controls, and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor regulations
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience (casual dining or high‑volume preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and effective during peak periods

Compensation

$38,000 – $45,000 per year, based on experience
