Title: Restaurant Manager

Position Summary: The Social Bar & Lounge is currently seeking a Restaurant Manager. If you are a dynamic, food-centric, passionate hospitality professional, this is the dream job for you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional service to our guests
  2. Coordinate daily front of the house operations
  3. Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  4. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  5. Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
  6. Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  7. Recruit, train and coach staff members
  8. Create weekly employee schedules
  9. Supervise opening and closing duties
  10. Assist in creating a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's goals, policies and values

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Must be able to read, write, and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication with Guests, Team Members, various business departments, and vendors
  2. Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic
  3. Organization, planning, and time management skills with the ability to react effectively to unexpected circumstances
  4. Ability to read and understand financial data
  5. Ability to build positive working relationships and provide clear direction and feedback
  6. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting professionalism
  7. Handle stress associated with responding to/solving problems
  8. Exercise discretion and independent judgment, as well as a creative approach to formulating responses
  9. Always present a neat professional appearance and demeanor
  10. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  11. Accurately complete paperwork and reports

Education and Work Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years of restaurant/hospitality experience required.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a restaurant. Must be able to work around changing schedules, which includes being available to work throughout the day, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Full-time

Pay:

$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

  2. Evening shift
  3. Holidays
  4. Weekend availability
