Position Summary: The Social Bar & Lounge is currently seeking a Restaurant Manager. If you are a dynamic, food-centric, passionate hospitality professional, this is the dream job for you.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to our guests
- Coordinate daily front of the house operations
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Recruit, train and coach staff members
- Create weekly employee schedules
- Supervise opening and closing duties
- Assist in creating a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's goals, policies and values
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to read, write, and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication with Guests, Team Members, various business departments, and vendors
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic
- Organization, planning, and time management skills with the ability to react effectively to unexpected circumstances
- Ability to read and understand financial data
- Ability to build positive working relationships and provide clear direction and feedback
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting professionalism
- Handle stress associated with responding to/solving problems
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment, as well as a creative approach to formulating responses
- Always present a neat professional appearance and demeanor
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Accurately complete paperwork and reports
Education and Work Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of restaurant/hospitality experience required.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a restaurant. Must be able to work around changing schedules, which includes being available to work throughout the day, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.

$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
