This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.*Duties** Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service.* Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards.* Monitor revenues to determine labour cost* Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms* Lead, train, and mentor staff in food service practices and customer engagement.* Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce.* Conduct performance reviews* Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.* Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and manage ordering processes.*Experience** Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.* Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills.* Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on hospitality.* Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.* Experience in interviewing and training staff is advantageous.* Previous experience in hotel or barista settings is a plus.
