Job Details

We are a family-friendly restaurant located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, in downtown Canmore. We offer a variety of comfort foods to locals and travelers. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, customer-driven restaurant manager to help Graze reach its full potential. The manager will have the independence and authority to make impactful decisions within the framework of Graze's identity.

*Occupancy limit: 40 seats inside, plus a 39-seat patio in summer.*

Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and develop the restaurant team
  • Set staff schedules
  • Actively oversee the floor operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop menus suited to our customer base and kitchen capabilities
  • Maintain food and beverage costs below set thresholds
  • Manage labor costs effectively
  • Build productive relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure consistent food presentation, quality, and quantity
  • Aim for a Google rating of 4.4 or higher
  • Be capable of working in the kitchen in unforeseen situations
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations
  • Proficiency with restaurant management software
  • Proserve certification
  • Minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience
  • Knowledge of restaurant equipment maintenance
  • Passion for the restaurant industry and delivering excellent guest experiences
  • Confident and clear communication skills
  • Leadership skills to motivate and guide a team
