  • Act as an RCM expert and relationship manager by fostering collaboration and strong working relationships across local Business Groups and Corporate Functions teams, providing strategic advice, and ensuring that all RCM program elements are documented and managed effectively.
  • Manage the usage of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool (Archer), including understanding end-user pain points, drafting business requirements, ensuring methodologies are accurately reflected, addressing end-user queries, and aligning with Enterprise RCM objectives.
  • Conduct oversight and quality assurance of RCM processes and controls across business groups, identifying areas for improvement, driving remediation efforts, and ensuring that programs are fit for purpose.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to create dashboards, perform trend analysis, and develop visual reports to assess the effectiveness of compliance programs, providing regular reporting with actionable metrics and insights for senior management.
  • Lead and participate in compliance-related projects and initiatives as needed, representing the compliance group in cross-functional projects, industry committees, forums, and delivering training on RCM methodology, processes, and best practices, including the GRC tool Archer.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Education & Experience: University education or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 7+ years in regulatory compliance, governance, legal, or relevant experience within the financial services industry.
  • Risk Management & Compliance Framework Expertise: Strong understanding of OSFI’s E-13 Guideline with experience translating requirements into sustainable compliance programs for large, complex organizations; proven expertise in RCM framework enhancement, including regulatory change management, risk assessments, issues management, and control testing.
  • GRC Tool Proficiency: Skilled in GRC tools, particularly RSA Archer, with knowledge of system configurations, data management, and integration of business processes.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, including creating dashboards, data models, and visualizations to provide insights and support reporting needs.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data and compliance insights into clear, actionable advice, demonstrated experience presenting to senior leadership and collaborating across functions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial Services Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial services compliance, including relevant legislations and regulatory requirements, with a focus on the asset management sector and operational challenges.
  • Technology & Process Improvement: Experience in identifying and implementing technology-driven solutions to enhance compliance processes.
