Position Details
  • Title: Manager, Regional Operations
  • Salary: $88,948 - $104,644 - $120,341 per year (pay range explained below)
  • Contract: Temporary, 6 months (leave coverage) with the possibility of extension
  • Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, 37.5 hours (core hours 9 am - 3 pm, Mon-Fri)
  • Location: Vancouver Island Regional Office, Ladysmith, BC, on the ancestral territories of the Stz’uminus Nation. Onsite role with required travel across regional offices.
About The Role

As Manager, Regional Operations, you will support the Vice President of Regional Operations and the Regional Team by providing strategic oversight of core functions including office and administrative operations, communications, finance, event coordination, contract and fleet management, accommodations, IMIT, and HR support. This dynamic, relationship-driven role ensures regional practices align with FNHA policies while fostering collaboration with other regions, central services, First Nations communities, health system partners, and Regional Health Authorities. Leading a dedicated team, you will maintain high service standards, identify opportunities for innovation, and work with center-led teams to improve community-informed organizational practices.

Qualifications

Education: A university degree with relevant specialization or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of recent, relevant, and significant leadership experience, including managing multi-disciplinary teams and administrative resources.
  • Experience working with First Nations communities or organizations, including engagement with political leadership.
  • Proven ability to provide senior-level administrative and operational support to executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in monitoring service reports and performance metrics, with a focus on identifying trends and driving continuous improvement.

The pay range reflects full-time annual salary. Hiring, transfer, or promotion decisions are based on knowledge, skills, and experience. The top 10% of the range is reserved for industry experts with exceptional experience and competencies. Internal compensation is determined per FNHA policies.
