Davidson & Company is seeking a Manager to join our Public Company Audit Practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the Engagement Manager and lead client-facing teams on a variety of accounts, taking responsibility for all aspects of planning, execution, and final deliverables
  • Develop a detailed engagement work plan, outlining budgets and schedules
  • Monitor project status and communicate schedule adjustments to Engagement Partner
  • Demonstrate superior customer service in client interactions, delivering quality, professionalism and integrity throughout all aspects of the engagement
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for the client, ensuring that they are fully informed of any progress and logistic
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior staff through continuous motivation and delegation of audit tasks as appropriate

What You’ll Bring

  • CPA designation (or equivalent) required.
  • 5+ years of public practice audit experience
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Demonstrated Knowledge in IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
  • Exceptional client relations and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Strong leadership, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Experience using audit-preparation software such as Caseware
  • Proven technical skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage deadlines

Salary

At Davidson, we value consistency and transparency regarding compensation. The annual salary for this position is $105,000 - $125,000
