We bring cross-functional teams together to implement and support programs across our Field organization and make strategic decisions on execution across our National CSD team. Description

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and support strategic priorities, including program governance, change initiatives, and operational communications. You will lead our Strategic Programs and Change Management team, driving transformational initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement, and optimizing processes and systems. Your leadership will be crucial in delivering better outcomes for our customers and team members as you help build a world-class connected home and security business at TELUS.

Key activities include:

1. Lead program governance, developing frameworks and standards for prioritization and resource allocation.
2. Support project prioritization aligning with organizational objectives.
3. Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to improve customer and business outcomes.
4. Oversee major programs from ideation to execution.
5. Support change management activities to enhance customer and team member experience.
6. Prepare and support executive-level business reviews.
7. Drive impactful business outcomes and lead change initiatives.
8. Promote TELUS values and culture among new team members.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Undergraduate degree in business or a related discipline.
• Experience managing teams and driving improvements in programs and processes.
• Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to build relationships, influence others, and foster ownership within teams.
• Comfort with ambiguity and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience using data and analytics to inform decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation creation and delivery.
• Proactive, self-starting, and ownership-driven approach.
• Highly collaborative and a strong communicator.
• Curiosity and a mindset for continuous learning and improvement.

Great-to-haves

• Previous Program Manager experience.
• MBA degree.
• PMP or similar certification.
• Proficiency with project management and data analysis tools.
