Our production team manages sourcing raw materials, manufacturing, order placement, pricing, quality control, and distribution to ensure high standards and business profitability. We are seeking a Manager, Production to join our growing team in Montreal.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Align closely with client requirements.
  2. Supervise and support the production team.
  3. Analyze vendor reports on time and action planning, ensuring proper critical path for the supply chain.
  4. Lead approvals of colors, fabrics, and accessories as per design specifications.
  5. Communicate daily updates related to vendors.
  6. Resolve issues with vendors promptly.
  7. Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols.
  8. Follow up on sample submissions.
  9. Maintain records of approvals.
  10. Anticipate and address potential problems in product development with short and long-term plans.
  11. Be available for overseas travel several times a year.
  12. Possess good knowledge of manufacturing processes and understanding of washing processes.
  13. Coordinate between departments such as Design, Sourcing, and Quality Control.
PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the apparel industry.
  • A degree in Fashion Marketing and/or Fashion Design.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in production within retail/wholesale.
  • Strong product development skills, manufacturing process knowledge, and understanding of washes and compliance protocols.
  • Management experience of at least one employee.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual in French and English; English proficiency required for communication with overseas factories and clients outside Quebec.
