  • Drive the capacity expansion strategy of our 5G network, which reaches over 87% of Canada's population, providing unparalleled reliability, capacity, speed, and low latency.

What you’ll do

Lead and Develop Your Team

  • Manage a team of RAN engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with other departments to ensure aligned network strategies

Optimize Network Capacity During Peak Hours

  • Develop and implement strategies to manage network capacity during peak times, ensuring consistent performance for all users

Ensure Network Reliability During High Traffic Events

  • Plan and execute network capacity enhancements for large-scale events such as concerts, sports games, and festivals

Enhance Performance Modeling

  • Develop sophisticated models to predict and analyze network performance across various metrics: upload and download throughput, latency and voice service quality
  • Utilize advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy of these models and translate model insights into actionable strategies for network upgrades

Strategic Planning and Reporting

  • Develop long-term capacity plans aligned with TELUS' network evolution strategy
  • Create and present regular reports on network performance, capacity utilization, and improvement initiatives to senior management
  • Budget planning and resource allocation for network expansion and upgrades

Salary Range: $110,000-$166,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 20%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefitssuch as:
