POSITION OVERVIEW :

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Manager of Partner Engagement and Events will support the development and execution of our corporate partner program, track performance, and lead the planning and execution of key partner and stakeholder events. Your role involves cultivating relationships, overseeing event delivery, and ensuring organizational-wide activation of the partner program.

RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS :
Event Development and Management :
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of all corporate partnership events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee logistics for events, including venue, vendors, budget, and participant engagement.
  • Coordinate across teams to meet timelines and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate partnership objectives into event strategies.
  • Work with communications, marketing, and other teams to deliver value-driven events.
  • Manage the organization’s participation in external events for visibility and networking opportunities.
Partner Engagement and Revenue Generation :
  • Identify opportunities and lead efforts to grow partnerships profitably.
  • Monitor and report on engagement metrics and revenue performance.
Stakeholder Engagement and Retention :
  • Develop a stakeholder engagement framework and communication channels.
  • Monitor satisfaction and retention metrics, implementing relationship-enhancing strategies.
Program Development :
  • Lead implementation of the new partnership program, including onboarding processes.
  • Contribute to economic development initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
  • Coordinate with marketing to develop content for integrated communications.
  • Manage a direct report (Events Coordinator), providing mentorship and guidance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
  • Experience with monitoring and reporting systems for partnerships, events, and revenue.
  • Strong project management skills and cross-team coordination.
  • Detail-oriented with accountability in project execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across departments.
  • Analytical mindset for data-driven decisions.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 5 years in partnership, event, or community relations roles.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and event management software (e.g., Eventleaf).
  • Team leadership experience is an asset.
  • Experience in a corporate environment preferred.
