Position Overview:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager here at Restaurant Brands International. With four major brands under the company - Burger King, Tim Hortons, Firehouse Subs, and Popeyes - solid finance and accounting support is crucial to the operations and profitability of the business.

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for such duties:

  • Responsible for routine payment cycles and escalation management.
  • Responsible for vendor master data governance.
  • Responsible for the journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations associated with Accounts Payable.
  • Establish cohort relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Real Estate, and IT.
  • Ensuring all Accounts Payable routines are performed under SOX compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate metrics throughout the team are met or exceeded.
  • Driving team engagement activities.
  • Ensure established control procedures are adhered to and support internal governance.
  • Develop, implement, and improve upon processes across the Procure to Pay department.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Finance; accounts payable management experience preferred.
  • University degree in Finance or accounting preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • Experience with Coupa is required. Experience with implementation preferred.
  • Proven strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical background.
  • Process improvement experience is a plus (LSS&A).
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate large data sets using analytic tools and synthesize executive summaries.
