As the Manager of Operational Excellence, you play a crucial role in steering our organizational performance to new heights. Responsible for quality management, process standardization and optimization, health & safety, and continuous improvement, you have the power to guide the business towards unprecedented success. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide leadership, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and innovative work environment.
  • Effectively manage and empower employees through mentorship, identifying opportunities for skill enhancement, and nurturing their career growth.

Governance:

  • Lead and enforce organizational governance of standards of performance, policies, and procedures in organizational processes, quality management, auditing management and health & safety.
  • Collaborate with the Business Applications & Analytics team to ensure technological projects align with the organizational operations strategy.

Strategy, Execution & Innovation:

  • Support executive leadership to define and implement the organizational operational strategy, including the supply chain strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to deploy the corporate strategy through the BPM framework, ensuring the alignment of continuous improvement projects with organizational strategic priorities.
  • Manage the operational excellence initiatives roadmap, encompassing quality, continuous improvement, operations transformation, and health & safety initiatives.
  • Manage complex operations transformation projects.
  • Ensure flawless execution of operational excellence projects, adhering to schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Execute strategies leveraging emerging technologies, including intelligent automation, to enhance operational excellence of the organization.

Organizational Adoption:

  • Lead the cultivation of a culture of sustained and standardized processes, ensuring continual improvement aligned with evolving corporate strategy.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to enforce strict adherence to expected standards of performance, procedures, and policies in processes, quality management, and health & safety.
  • Strategically implement change management strategies, proactively addressing potential resistance to ensure a smooth and sustained adoption of procedures and policies related to processes, quality, and health & safety.
  • Manage high-impact training and coaching programs, enhancing proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies for employees across the organization to adeptly tackle diverse business challenges.
  • Oversee meticulous audits and resolution of quality and health & safety cases, ensuring seamless business continuity, prioritizing employee and client safety, optimizing user experience, and ensuring compliance with external authorities.

External Partners Management:

  • Manage and cultivate relationships with NAN, impact partners, consultants, vendors, and authorities, ensuring optimal collaboration, value delivery, and service excellence.

Business Performance & Financial Management:

  • Lead and manage organizational budgeting for operational excellence initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Analyze operational excellence projects impacts on organizational efficiency and financial performance, driving initiatives to enhance ROI through continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven transformative leadership with a dedicated focus on continuous improvement and effective problem-solving.
  • Quick learner with exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and active listening abilities.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and customer-centric mindset, emphasizing a commitment to operational excellence.
  • Strong communication skills in French (required) and English (asset), proficient in written and spoken forms.
  • Valuable assets include an MBA, Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and PMP certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, showcasing expertise in business applications and analytics tools.
