You care deeply about people and believe that systems should support both operational outcomes and human wellbeing. You bring clarity, consistency, and energy to everything you touch, and you're ready to grow into a senior leadership role by proving your impact in the day-to-day.

This role is designed to grow into a Senior Manager of People Operations within 12–24 months, with increased ownership of strategy, systems, and people leadership.

What you’ll do

Support systems and structure

  • Help formalize and improve processes across onboarding, performance management, recruiting, and compliance
  • Document and standardize SOPs to reduce key-person risk and support growth
  • Assist in optimizing and maintaining people systems (ATS, HRIS, payroll)
  • Track and assist in reporting KPIs related to turnover, compliance, and performance

Partner, support, and execute

  • Assist managers with employee relations, coaching conversations, and documentation
  • Support staff development through feedback, clarity, and process guidance
  • Help operational leaders strengthen their people leadership skills through tools and coordination

Reinforce compliance and clarity

  • Help maintain labor law compliance and ensure handbook policies are up-to-date
  • Support compensation review cycles and alignment with gross profit goals
  • Coordinate benefits administration, open enrollment, and vendor communication
  • Support HR tasks related to acquisitions, onboarding, and branch growth

You’ll thrive here if you…

  • Care about getting the details right and improving the systems around you
  • Are a servant leader who supports others, models responsibility, and drives results
  • Bring clarity, organization, and process to dynamic environments
  • Are eager to grow and ready to learn from feedback
  • Follow through on commitments and take initiative without being asked
  • Understand that trust is earned through follow-through, clarity, and shared wins
  • Communicate clearly and act with integrity
  • Believe that people can grow with the right clarity and support
  • Adapt quickly and build for how things work in reality

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years in HR or People Operations; at least 1 year in an HR generalist or HRBP role
  • Familiarity with compliance, onboarding, and performance systems
  • Experience helping document and improve HR processes
  • Strong communication, coordination, and follow-through skills
  • Experience in staffing, distribution, or manufacturing preferred
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus but not required
