Hillel Ontario is seeking a Manager of Holocaust Education to lead initiatives that promote Holocaust awareness and education across nine campuses. The role involves creating educational frameworks, mentoring student leaders, and coordinating significant events like Holocaust Education Week, aiming to foster student engagement and community involvement.
Hillel Ontario is seeking a Manager of Holocaust Education who will create and manage a robust portfolio focused on Holocaust education, leadership development, and student-led programming. This position will encompass developing curricula for and overseeing student cohorts on each campus, as well as guiding the vision and strategy for Holocaust programming overall. The candidate will create an educational framework that builds up a cohort of student leaders to bring Holocaust awareness and education to Hillel Ontario’s nine campuses through innovative and thoughtful programming.
The Manager of Holocaust Education is a creative and engaging individual with a strong Jewish educational background, particularly in history and Holocaust Studies, as well as contemporary Holocaust pedagogy. They understand and promote best practices in formal and informal educational experiences.
The manager also has a high level of emotional intelligence, is masterful at building, cultivating and maintaining relationships, and is able to work collaboratively in a complex, fast-paced, and geographically dispersed environment.
