Job description

This position is responsible forthe management of the healthcare systems across Canada. Their objectivesencompass:

(i) Developing andexecuting strategic account plans for major healthcare systems across Canada (local/ provincial / national GPOs).

(ii) Engaging authoritiesand procurement organizations (e.g. PHSA, ON Health, CAG, RAMQ, Nova ScotiaHealth Authority, etc.).

(iii) Managing distributionagreements with our network of partners.

The ideal candidate will build andmaintain strong, long-term partnerships with key healthcare stakeholders -including health authorities, procurement groups, distributors, and governmentbodies while identifying opportunities to deliver value through our healthcareproducts and services. They will effectively embody Urgo Medical culture andcollaborate with the Urgo Medical Canada team.

In addition, this positionrequires a self-motivated individual with high energy and passion, a personaland professional history of leadership, management, and sales resultsaccompanied by excellent communication skills as well as a strategic mindset toprioritize and deliver on key objectives.

Duties andResponsibilities

· Strategic Account Leadership

o Developand execute long-term strategic account plans with major Canadian healthcaresystems, hospital networks, group purchasing organizations (GPOs), and provincialhealth agencies.

o Identifyand prioritize key accounts that align with business growth objectives andhealth system transformation goals.

o Conductregular performance reviews

· Team collaboration

o Collaboratewith key account managers and the sales area manager, ensuring alignment withtheir strategic roadmap.

o Engagewith Leadership Team (General Manager, Finance and Operations Manager) todefine and execute the Canada strategic plan.

o Fostera collaborative and high-performance team culture.

· Reportingand Analytics:

o Monitorand report on key performance indicators (KPIs) on targeted accounts.

o Prepareregular reports on account activities, progress, and outcomes for seniormanagement.

o Utilizedata-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuousimprovement.

  • · Ability to work in a cross-functional team in a dynamic environment forad-hoc projects.
  • · Strategic mindset with the ability to define key target priorities, buildaction plans, and deliver against them.
  • · Excellent time and project management skills are required.
  • · Fluent in English and French is preferred

Requirements

  • Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in businessadministration, management or a related field is required .

  • Experience:

o Minimumof 7-10 years of experience in account management or sales, with a focus on thehealthcare sector.

o Proventrack record of managing and growing healthcare systems partnerships.

    • Ability to travel within Canada,and occasionally to the US, including frequent overnight stays.
