SHR Talent is partnering with a fast-growing PE-backed and highly profitable multi-site healthcare company for its search for a Manager of Financial Reporting. The Manager of Financial Reporting is a key leadership opportunity to help build out a new financial reporting function from the ground up. As the Manager of Financial Reporting, you’ll be working alongside a highly respected, long-tenured finance leader who is assembling a top-tier team to support the company’s continued growth and reporting needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Develop and maintain reporting packages for executive leadership, private equity sponsors, and board members
  • Manage the monthly close process in collaboration with accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and operations
  • Ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external standards
  • Support integration and reporting for new acquisitions and newly developed locations
  • Build and implement internal controls over financial reporting and support audit readiness
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process, including the preparation of PBC schedules and technical documentation
  • Research technical accounting issues and prepare memos or policy documentation as needed
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes and drive efficiency

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience
  • Public accounting or healthcare industry experience, a plus
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls over financial reporting
  • Experience in a PE-backed, multi-site, or high-growth environment, preferred
  • Proven ability to lead reporting initiatives and manage timelines under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), accounting, and reporting systems such as NetSuite, Workiva, and Blackline
