Job description

Description Our client is a consulting and advisory group that provides back-office support services - corporate secretarial functions, bookkeeping, accounting and financial reporting for public companies listed on the CSE and TSX-V and private companies looking to go public. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this Manager is primarily responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and leading the annual audits.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of interim and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Preparation of interim and annual MD&A’s and pro-forma financial statements
Preparation of budgets and cash flow reports
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting processes
Overseeing the financial reporting processes for clients, to ensure deadlines and objectives are met and comply with Company policies
Supervise accounting staff and review work to ensure accounting and bookkeeping functions are maintained appropriately
Preparation and review of corporate tax returns for Company’s clients on an as needed basis

Qualified candidates will possess a CPA with 3-5 years of relevant public accounting experience, working on publicly-listed companies. You must also be able to multi-task, work independently and excel in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, along with excellent communication skills will complete this candidate profile.

Salary This Company provides a dynamic environment with growing opportunities and flexible work arrangements. Salary is commensurate with experience but likely in the $95k-$120k range plus bonus.
