Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will be responsible for providing financial expertise, business analysis and oversight for Financial Planning and Analysis and Internal and External Reporting. Guides management on financial-related matters and decisions for both short-term and long-term strategic initiatives. Manages daily financial inquiries for designated business areas.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leadership to maintain a strong understanding of the key business drivers of the assigned area.
• Support month end closing process primarily focusing on monthly reviews of financial and operational results.
• Responsible for all planning, forecasting, and reporting processes of the company, including monthly forecasts, annual budget, and five-year business outlook, while providing visibility on profitability, efficiencies, and key operational metrics.
• Perform periodic analyses of variances as compared to plan, forecast and prior periods. Prepare presentations and documentation of budget and forecast information and other ad hoc requests.
• Bring a continuous improvement mindset to the organization to develop more efficient and better ways to achieve our business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation or equivalent
• At least 6-10 years of experience in an analytical role in finance
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial modeling experience.
• Effective time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing, tracking details, and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
• Power BI, TM1 and HFM experience (preferred)
• Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel modeling and financial business modeling.
