The City of Brantford is seeking a Manager of Corporate Information to lead IT initiatives and manage software solutions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least five years of experience in IT, with a focus on leadership and strategic direction. The successful candidate will engage with various departments to enhance service delivery through technology, ensuring cohesive teamwork and timely support.

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and passionate about technology, continuously learning and understands how current trends could drive and improve how we deliver the services provided to our staff, citizens, businesses and visitors.
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Manager of Corporate Information will be responsible for the development, integration, implementation and support of many Corporate and Departmental software solutions. You will provide the leadership and direction for this division managing a team of IT professionals focused on database management, development and application support. You will ensure the team is working cohesively and providing the required services and support within the timeframe commitments. In this role you will be expected to drive the use of technology within the organization and serve as the technology lead on new corporate application projects including product lifecycle management. You will engage departments to understand their business needs and provide strategic advice and direction regarding business solutions and integration opportunities. As part of the Information Technology management team you will work co-operatively to develop and support the goals and objectives of the department.
