Amentum is seeking a Construction Manager based in Ottawa to oversee datacenter construction and upgrade projects. This role involves coordinating internal and subcontractor teams while ensuring a safe work environment and meeting project deadlines. Candidates should possess relevant experience and a General Contractors License in Quebec, along with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
The Mission Critical Construction Manager is primarily a Foreman / Superintendent role responsible for managing internal and subcontractor crews for datacenter construction and upgrade projects. Scopes vary from minor BMS / EPMS upgrade projects to major multidisciplinary scopes involving multiple subcontractors and trades. This position will be based out of Montreal.

Requirements / Experience
Essential Functions : Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting to 20 pounds. Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and / or left hands utilized. Need to reach and / or work above the shoulder, as well as below the shoulder for same. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and work at heights.
