Beth Donovan Hospice provides compassionate support and professional care to individuals and their families as they journey through the challenges of life-limiting illnesses and end-of-life transitions. Whether in a home or hospital setting, the experienced staff and trained volunteers of Beth Donovan Hospice give of themselves to ensure that the families receive the assistance, support and guidance they need.
Founded through the compassion and vision of generous volunteers, Beth Donovan Hospice has been providing services to the community for over 30 years in the North Grenville - Merrickville area and more recently in the communities of South Ottawa.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Manager of Clinical Services to lead and support the clinical aspects of our Day Hospice and In-Home Visiting Programs. You will oversee clinical assessments, client and family system navigation, program delivery, and ensure high-quality palliative care aligned with best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with CNO and member of RNAO
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
Palliative Care education (preferred)
Experience
Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in hospice, palliative care, or community health
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work with evidence-based practices related to a palliative approach to care, pain and symptom management and end of life care
Experience supervising clinical teams or volunteers in a healthcare or nonprofit setting
Knowledge of community resources, infection prevention and control, and trauma-informed care
Experience with electronic medical records and strong computer literacy
Personal Attributes

Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams
Culturally sensitive and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Additional Information
This position is 4 days per week (flexible days, may include evening and weekend for hospice events)
Must be willing to travel within the North Grenville and surrounding area region
Participation in fundraising events, special initiatives, and public awareness campaigns may be required
