We are currently seeking a Manager of Academic Integrity to join our Office of the Provost & VP, Academic team.
Job Overview:
This role reports to the Associate Vice-President, Academic. Reporting directly to this role are the Academic Integrity Strategist(s) and the Academic Integrity Investigators.
The Manager of Academic Integrity [AI] provides educational and administrative leadership to the academic integrity team in the Provost's Office, and to the Provost's Office in general, and leads academic integrity support, in conjunction with decanal leadership teams, across the University. The position is accountable for the day-to-day administration, leadership, planning, and management of operations and initiatives offered by the Provost's Office in support of academic integrity, including developing and measuring objectives to ensure services provided align with the Provost's goals. The Manager of Academic Integrity advises the Associate Deans in prevention, detection and investigation of academic integrity violations.
Education and Experience
- Master's degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a professional support role in higher education, including experience coordinating, managing or overseeing staff and support systems.
- Experience in conducting academic integrity investigations and developing academic integrity supports.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Successful experience training and managing an effective team.
- Ability to provide leadership and direction by analyzing situations and developing solutions.
- Experience utilizing key University software including reporting systems, Sharepoint, and others.
- Skill in collecting, analyzing and deriving proposals from institutional data.
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills, including the ability to sensitive academic issues and concerns in professional, discrete and diplomatic ways.
- Experience recruiting, supervising, and managing performance of staff.
- Experience with University budgetary software and practices.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations, with a sound understanding of how they contribute to a quality educational experience.
- Ability to plan and manage multiplate projects efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively in planning and developing new approaches.
- Ability to work independently, make sound judgments and effective decisions, and demonstrate initiative.
- Intercampus travel is required, possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, on occasion.

Typically, initial salary placement is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum. This represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications and experience for the position. In the normal course, employees will be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and approximately halfway of the salary range for a job with consideration given to internal equity.
