The manager is responsible for the efficient and effective use of resources, as well as the quality of services provided. This position is also accountable for oversight and provision of outpatient medication distribution services on a regional basis. The manager is responsible for participation in committee work; financial management including budgeting; participation in the development, implementation and evaluation of Pharmacy Services strategic directions and objectives as well as process improvement projects; and human resources management including performance reviews and attendance management. In accordance with the College of Pharmacy of Newfoundland and Labrador, this position may be required to function as the Pharmacist in Charge for the responsible site(s).
