Role Overview

TheManager, New Ventures & Special Projectsis responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing new business opportunities that expand our company’s offerings beyond dermatology. This role will play a key part in launching innovative ventures, such as ourlongevity and preventative health initiative, and integrating them into the larger organization.

Reporting to the executive team, this individual willconduct market research, perform due diligence, develop business plans, and lead implementation efforts. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a passion forhealthcare innovation and business development.

Role Objectives

The Manager, New Ventures & Special Projects responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conductmarket researchto evaluate demand, competition, and feasibility for new business opportunities.
  • Developfinancial models and business casesto assess potential return on investment (ROI) and risks.
  • Performdue diligenceon emerging healthcare trends, technologies, and partnerships.
  • Providestrategic recommendationsto executives on whether to proceed with new ventures.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop detailedproject plans, timelines, and budgetsfor new ventures.
  • Oversee theimplementation and operational launchof new businesses, ensuring seamless integration into the company’s existing structure.
  • Work cross-functionally withoperations, marketing, finance, legal, and clinical teamsto bring new initiatives to market.
  • EstablishKPIs and tracking systemsto measure success and make necessary adjustments.

Strategic Growth & Business Development

  • Identify and build relationships withpotential partners, investors, and industry expertsto accelerate growth.
  • Explore opportunities forjoint ventures, partnerships, and acquisitionsin alignment with company strategy.
  • Develop and presentbusiness proposals and reportsto senior leadership.
  • Stay informed on industry trends andidentify innovative business modelsthat align with the company’s vision.

Operational Integration & Scalability

  • Ensure new ventures arestructured for long-term success, including staffing, training, and operational processes.
  • Create scalable frameworks forexpanding successful pilot programs into multiple locations.
  • Monitor business performance post-launch and make recommendations foroptimization and expansion.

Role Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience inbusiness development, corporate strategy, or healthcare innovation.
  • Strong background inmarket analysis, financial modeling, and project management.
  • Experience inhealthcare, wellness, or preventative medicine(preferred).
  • Proven ability tolead complex projectsfrom concept to execution.
  • Strongentrepreneurial mindsetwith a passion for innovation.
  • Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in afast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA & PMP (preferred).
