International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party claims administration team that provides claims services for Lloyd's of London, self-insured entities, and organizations with high deductibles. We provide our clients with peace of mind knowing that their interests are looked after by a team of professionals who understand the specific language and technicalities of this market, and who are dedicated to provision of the highest quality TPA services.

Role Responsibilities:
People Processes:
  • Acts as coach and mentor, providing technical and facilitation training to supervisory and file handling staff.
  • Works with the team to monitor performance and achievement of SLAs, KPIs, audit initiatives, and interim billing targets.
  • Conducts weekly reviews of new claim files at 60/120/180 days.
  • Reviews deductible collection processes and their implementation.
  • Reviews and trains the team on new contracts, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Reinforces claim data integrity.
  • Participates in recruiting new employees.
  • Assists the Head of Claims/Operations as required.
  • Engages in client-facing activities when needed.
  • Manages a small number of own claim files.
Claims Management of a Reduced Pending:
  • Works independently to examine or direct complex liability claim handling.
  • Assembles information to evaluate the scope of loss and determine coverage and indemnification.
  • Produces complex reports with minimal supervision.
  • Directs field adjusters during investigations.
  • Settles claims directly with claimants or their representatives.
  • Manages claim payments and settlements through trust accounts.
  • Liaises with stakeholders to meet client needs.
  • Seeks managerial advice collaboratively when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • University degree, college diploma, or equivalent business experience.
  • Working towards CIP designation.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in liability, auto, and bodily injury adjusting, including demonstrated leadership.
  • Multi-line adjusting experience is an asset.
  • Experience with Lloyd’s is an asset.
  • Ability to direct adjusters of all levels and work effectively in a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Positive attitude with a customer service focus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
