The Manager role will be responsible for production operations, optimizing GBM MIS reporting applications and providing solutions to the business requirements of our clients.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Design and develop efficient Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
  • Design, develop and implement new automated processes to achieve higher efficiency or performance.
  • Use data modelling for report replacement or enhancement.
  • Maintain GBM Essbase cubes, including outline update and data upload for actual month end, pre-/post-quarter forecast and plan.
  • Assist senior manager with the development and implementation of GBM Essbase cube enhancements.
  • Provide business support to GBM Essbase cube users and regional finance, including user training and ad hoc queries.
  • Write detailed documentations of processes and procedures, such as user guides, training materials, business requirements and operation procedures.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • 3+ years’ solid working experience in programming, visualization and/or data management
  • 3+ years’ experience accessing, compiling and analyze large volumes of data into usable form, using SAS, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), VBA or Python.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Power BI.
  • Experience in Oracle Essbase cube is an asset.
  • Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) and Financial Accounting Chart of Accounts (COFA) is preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of GBM or similar products is an asset.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong time management skills is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or better in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or relevant.
